Clavicyclette

A combination small (64-note) upright piano and a depanneur delivery bike. Designed and built by Spike Taylor and his mechanical engineer/welder/bike mechanic friends. It has appeared onstage (at L’Astral, Theatre National, Eglise St-Jean-Baptiste…) on television (La Vie est un Cirque and Au des Hommes et des Kiwis) in music videos by Krista Muir (Chicken On Clark) and Little Scream (Boatman) and at the 2012 Guelph Jazz Festival. The Clavicyclette has also rolled in solidarity with the Carre Rouge marches of 2012, The Howl Arts Collective and the Lhasa de Sela celebration in the formerly-named Parc Clark.
